The Southern California MINI Maniacs gathered for a car show, fund raiser and general MINI(and Mini) related good times. There is nothing better than a couple hundred classic and current MINIs showing up in one spot.
The event was held at the Enderle Center in Tustin, an upscale shopping center that allowed SCMM to turn their parking lot into a car show and social gathering. Some of the highlights were raffles, awards and vendors on hand to outfit MINI owners and fans with related gear for the motoring lifestyle. The mood of the event was relaxed and friendly. Most MINI fans are there for the camaraderie associated with the cars and not necessarily the competition. With that said however, some of the finest MINIs, new and old, showed up at the event looking their best.
Fantasy Racing showed up with a recreation of their pits from the annual MINI assault on Bonneville. The display even featured actual salt brought back from the Utah Desert. South Bay MINI brought out a new R56 for test-drives and Fireball Tim was on hand with some of his wild creations.
