Beauty, Speed, and Comfort

Lightweight and bullet fast. That's what a 911 is all about. It's also how I envisioned this '74 Carrera and its ultimate performance possibilities. Although the Porsche was originally built for Speedware customer and entrepreneur Richard Tait (creator of the board game Cranium), I became owner not long after its completion. As Speedware company manager, I see a lot of impressive rides come and go, but this was one that wasn't getting away. Tait and I closely collaborated on the project, interacting and exchanging build plans on every level. With only 175 stock bhp, we opted for a full transplant utilizing a 3.6-liter turbo motor, nearly doubling the power in the process.

The black on black look is classic and the no-sunroof option is key for the track. Beauty, comfort, speed. What more could a guy ask?
