Once again, testing was done while monitoring coolant temp, IAT and ignition timing to record gains as accurately as possible, as well as using the same fuel mixture. Since this part of the test had to take place the following day, we encountered a small increase in ambient air temperature and humidity, which were 83 degrees and 30 percent. These would only slightly affect our acceleration comparison to the disadvantage of the AWE intercooler, for which the dyno software can't adjust.
Pros
Colder intake temperatures mean better longevity, more engine power and more repeatable power.The installation is designed to be easily reversible.Front-mount core gives a more aggressive look.
